Leann Westmoreland


RGN & Care Manager

Leann is a care expert. She is an RGN and a care manager with 24 years of clinical experience in care, with particular expertise in care and case management of persons with neurological disability, including brain and spinal injuries. She has commissioned, co-ordinated and maintained packages of care as a case manager in large national case management organisations and currently manages an intermediate care facility with responsibility for overseeing the care and rehabilitation of persons with disability, ensuring care plans meet the needs of clients, supervise nursing and the support workers, co-ordinate the MDT to achieve outcomes, undertake risk assessments, recruitment and retention to meet the needs of clients with complex health and rehabilitation needs.

Leann has worked closely with the MDT and Solicitors in medico-legal cases and having case managed and being a neurological specialist nurse has had several years of experience in the medico-legal context, with many of her clients having suffered major traumas and personal injuries and been through the litigation process.

Leann has enjoyed undertaking research, audits, studies and publication contributions with some leading clinicians and surgeons.

Leann is passionate about traveling around the world with her son and has a lengthy bucket list which just seems to get longer not shorter! She is also currently learning to play the piano and is a big animal lover with many of her own to keep her busy.
